Lara Croft’s journey to becoming a legendary icon continues! Netflix has confirmed a second season for Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, with season one premiering just weeks ago.
According to Netflix, while season one served as Lara’s origin story, season two will follow her transformation from rookie to the renowned adventurer we know today. The upcoming season sees Lara and her friend Sam tracking down ancient Orisha masks while evading a mysterious billionaire with dark motives.
The series, starring Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft, debuted with eight episodes on October 10, bridging the narrative between Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the classic Tomb Raider games. Showrunner Tasha Huo teased that fans can expect Lara to assemble her team and tackle even bigger threats in season two.
