Little Nightmares III is set to release in 2025, marking the return of the chilling puzzle-platformer series with some exciting new elements. Developed by Supermassive Games, known for their work on horror titles like Until Dawn, this third installment introduces cooperative multiplayer for the first time, allowing two players to explore the eerie world together. Players can choose between the protagonists, Low and Alone, each armed with unique items—a bow and a wrench—that enhance both puzzle-solving and combat elements within the game.

The game’s story transports players to “The Spiral,” a dark, nightmarish world filled with surreal and unsettling landscapes. With Little Nightmares III promising to bring back the franchise’s signature mix of platforming, puzzles, and stealthy evasion from monstrous enemies, players can expect a more intense experience that builds upon the atmospheric horror and tension that defined the previous games.
The addition of co-op multiplayer adds a fresh twist, allowing players to strategize together as they face challenges that require teamwork. However, for solo players, an AI will control the secondary character, ensuring the story progresses seamlessly even without a partner. Little Nightmares III will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, broadening accessibility for fans of the series.
